“Ok, I will 100% admit that I am a crazy dog lady, but portraiture of myself AND my dog… why not just make me the craziest dog lady and sign me up?? My application was accepted for their Dogs & Their Hoomans Project and gifted a complementary photo session valued at $2000… and I can not express enough how grateful I am for this beautiful gift. The photographer and her assistant were AMAZING with myself and with my dog, Jax. They treated him as I do and we’re so gentle and kind. They captured beautiful moments between Jax and I that I will display for the rest of my life. We have been through so much together and Haus of Portraiture and staff captured our truest bond with each other, and each of our personalities! I will recommend this place for fur baby photos for the rest of my life!”

“I don't normally leave reviews but I would be doing Haus of Portraiture an injustice if I didn't! Everything about this business left me speechless.
To start off: I was a very thankful to be selected for their Dogs & Their Hoomans Project!
At first, I was highly skeptical because let's be honest, nothing in this world is free anymore haha. But after a few phone calls, texts, and reviews...I decided it was legit and lets try it!
From the very beginning, I was super impressed with the communication and great directions/expectations in the phone call and e-mail. With this being said, make sure you read their expectations because they know what works best for the portraits!
Once I made the appointment they did require a $300 refundable fee which is expected because their time is precious/expensive for no-shows! Later, I received a brochure in the mail which got me pretty excited. haha.
The day came and I followed their directions and had no problem finding the parking garage or their studio. From the second I walked in, I felt well taken care of. They offered me water/tea and receptionist was SO amazing and had an amazing conversation to bypass the time. It wasn't long before I was called back for the photos. The Photographer is SO talented. It was tough for me to step back and not say what works for my dog, Niko. But once I let my guard down, I quickly realized they know EXACTLY what they are doing and knew how to get the best attention/poses from Niko. They work quick and efficiently and paid very close attention to small details like moving my bracelet to the other wrist so it would be seen in the picture. They even made it clear what they were doing when they picked up their phones so you didn't think they were on them.
Then I went to the waiting room while they refined the best photos. I was then invited to step into a room where I was informed about their beautiful art and portraiture. She then had me sit down to review my pictures on a projector. I remember thinking my smile was off and these photos are not going to be up to my expectations. (I hate my smile haha) Little did I know my mouth would drop with how GORGEOUS they turned out.
Now comes the part I was terrified for.....the sales part. I will start off by saying she was so professional and helpful. This wouldn't be a business without trying to upgrade the beautiful artwork. She offered me so many deals as well as a payment plan with no interest. Unfortunately, it was not in my budget and I had to respectfully decline for the different options. But I can't thank her enough for being understanding and not making me feel pressured to upgrade from my gift.
I can't wait to receive my smaller portrait and I will always recommend this incredible business.

“They exceeded all my expectations. I went in for a photo shoot. The shoot was quick, the staff made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. Katia was a wonderful photographer. She knew exactly how to direct me. Afterwards we were taken to the back room with Nephresha who tied the photo and story together beautifully. It really felt like we captured a moment in time. She was so sweet and helpful. When they showed the first photo of me and boy, my sister and I burst into tears. They captured the love between us and the twinkle in his eyes. I felt they positioned me so well, I looked elegant. The photo was absolutely perfect. Thank you staff!! I never realized how important truly capturing a moment in time could be. It represents such a big transition in my life and the role my boy has played. I am so proud and thrilled and can’t wait to show my grandchildren in the future.”
